We offer dozens of possible sites for the planning of solar power plant and hybrid projects, the scope of which is a total of 1530 hectares. The size of individual sites varies between 10 and 130 hectares. The buildable areas enable the construction of solar parks with 1200 MWp potential.
Nivala-Haapajärvi region NIHAK has mapped the sites in cooperation with municipalities and landowners. The sites are located in six municipalities: Nivala, Haapajärvi, Pyhäjärvi, Kärsämäki, Reisjärvi and in Sievi. The advantage of the area in terms of construction is the flatness of the land and the good transport connections. In addition, there is an interested and positive attitude towards solar energy.
The area has excellent infrastructure for the needs of energy projects. The area’s existing transmission connections and substations built for the needs of wind farms and other constructions can be used for energy transfer of your projects. There are enough power stations and network capacity for the implementation of new projects.
